Once Again The Scientist And Academics Catch Up With Little Nicky

I’ve been telling you throughout the ten years this blog has been running that far too much of what is passed off as ‘science’ these days is nothing but corporate propaganda.

Now increasingly I note that the people who still have a little integrity despite working in the field of scientific research are breaking ranks with the Science Inquisition, that cabal of PhDs tasked with rooting out scientific heresy.

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of the New England Journal of Medicine.” – Dr. Marcia Angell, a physician and longtime editor-in-chief of the New England Medical Journal (NEMJ) (source)

Dr. Angell is not the only one of course. Watch this blog to see who else is chalenging the government / corporate narrative.

The Party Of Working People

Remember this? Wanna go back there? The Tories aren’t working either. You know what to do.

The voters of Rochester and Strood gave the out of touch, elitist political establishment a well deserved kick up the arse this week and in doing so kicked of a right kerfuffle among the leaders of the two main parties. Oh and I ought to mention they relagated the Lib Dems to a minor party, behind the Greens but still neck and neck with the Official Monster Raving Loony party.

Cammers tried to claim the UKIP victory was not as bad as it seemed. That’s true, it was worse. Not only did the Conservatives have a 10,000 majority at the last general election in 2010, UKIP did not even field a candidate.

Ed Miliband’s reaction was even worse, in an attempt at damage limitation following the disastrous tweet by former Shadow Attorney General Emily Thornberry who suggested all Rochester voters are ignorant, arse-crack-showing chavs who drape themselves in St. George’s Flag while driving white vans, Ed sacked the offending front bench elitist and tried to claim Labour were still the party of working people.

Its sort of true though, Labour has become the party of people working as lawyers, academics, university lecturers, media luvvies, social workers, fashion designers, all manner of tax eaters and all the other useless fuckers.

UK General Election, 2015: David Cameron Hugged A Hoodie but Nobody Wants To Hug A Tory.
So far, no matter what the political leaders do, the public are not responding to electioneering. The biggest losers from this disengagement with establishment politics are likely to be David Cameron’s Conservatives who ned a five point lead over Labour to be in with a chance. So are the polls being distorted by the UKIP effect or is something more significant going on?

What Would George Orwell Think Of The Screeching Left’s Horror At Plans To Shrink The State.
In part one of his classic social commentary, The Road To Wigan Pier, George Orwell wrote of the grinding poverty and appalling living conditions endured by people in industrial areas. The second part, which is more revevant to the 21st Century is a rant against the superiority of the upper class ‘Fabian’ socialists who have hijacked the Labour movement.

How To Help The Poor – A look at how mainstream politics talks of fairness but penalises poverty
All three mainstream parties in the May 2015 General Election are focusing, as they did last time, on fairness, equality and helping ‘the poor’. As their senior spokesmen piously pontificate there will be no trace of irony from either Conservative, Labour or Liberal Democrat while the spout such bollocks, even though they know their economic policies will penalise the poor.

British University System Facing Collapse

Half of Britain’s 150 universities must close down if the system is to remain viable, according to a senior academic.

Sir Roderick Floud has proposed a plan for mass redundancies and closures to be adopted by the government in which he criticised the “messy, muddled non-system of higher education” as “inefficient” and in need of root-and-branch reform. Floud is the former head of Universities UK, an advocate for universities, and has run several universities.

“I believe that we have too many universities, that they are trying to do too many different things, and that the way we fund their research is fundamentally flawed,” Floud wrote in Times Higher Education. “We don’t need two or more universities in each of our major cities, glowering at each other and competing to attract the attentions of businesses and local authorities. Why does Leeds or Sheffield or Oxford, for example, need two vice-chancellors, registrars or groups of governors?

“In London, the situation is even more bizarre, with some 40 universities within the M25 [the London Orbital Motorway] and more arriving by the day. We have conservatoires and art colleges which could perfectly well be faculties of a larger university,” Floud continued. (Read all)

Yeah, well he has a point. How many PPE, Business Management and Psychology Graduates do we need? Apprenticeships in bricklaying, plastering, plumbing, joinery, car mechanics, engineering, electrical installations and so on would give people the prospect of earning a decent living.

And if we converted all the branches of the University of Usedtobeapoly back to local techs, people could do vocational training for proper jobs instead of taking joke degrees in things like janitorial services.

Paedophilia is natural and normal for males’ says elitist adademic

Paedophilia is natural and normal for males’

Last week, after the conviction of Rolf Harris, the report into Jimmy Savile and Paedos-in-Parliament claims of an establishment cover-up to protect several senior MPs in Margaret Thatcher’s Cabinet suspected of sex-offending after their names were mentioned in allegations that a molly house for elite businessmen, public servants and political figures was being operated under the front of Elm Guest House in south London, Britain went into a convulsion of anxiety about child abuse in the Eighties.

but why the eighties, OK, Jimmy Savile, Stuart Hall, Rolf Harris, Cyril Smith, and several senior Members of the Thatcher Government. While Leon brittan has denied the only specific allegation so far made against him, this former future Prime Minister has not yet offered an explanation of why he suddenly quite his post as Home Secretary, having been widely tipped to succeed Thatcher as Prime Minister for what by comparison was a lowly clerical job in the European Union.

What was he running away from? When the answer emerges it could trigger an even greater scandal that the MP’s expenses case a few years ago.

But all that is ancient history and while we should be concerned at the way the establishment closed ranks to cover up widespread allegations of wrongdoing, we should be actively demanding answers from organisers of an academic conference as to why they allowed a vile, pervy creep Professor of Psychology mic time to promote his agenda of normalising sex with underage girls and boys.

Micawbernomics: A Gift Of Wise Advice To Politicians And Economists

Question the received wisdom of socialist and ‘compassionate conservative’ politicians and economics academics that the only way out of the financial mess is higher taxes and more government spending and they will get on their high horse to explain that you are only revealing your economic ignorance – and like comedy cowboys fall right off on the other side.

Feeding the nine billion

Fancy eating grey goo, or according to scientists meat grown in a vat. One of the ideas proposed by science and academic experts to deal with the problem of feeding the world when the population has boomed to nine billion is turning skyscrapers into farms to feed our cities. This is not a scheme cooked up by corporate interests or big agribusiness like cloning and GM food, but the loonytoons thinking of an academic.

Nine billion is the number of humans is predicted to be reached by 2050. The simple answer to overpopulation that nobody is talking about is population control.

Do we need nine billion people? Apart from feeding nine bilion people with exactly the same resources as are failing to feed 6.8 billion now can we ceep such a vast population occupied in an increasingly jobless world? Do we have the technology to keep population levels manageable? Yes and yes.

The arrogance of economists and the stupidity of politicians

Don’t you just love the arrogance of economists and their detatchment from anything remotely resembling reality. They’re all scum sucking crackfarts, they really are. Little Nicky Machiavelli has said this many times and today there’s a mainstream journalist taking up the theme in response to an economics academic who says that anyone who does not have a PhD in economics should not be allowed to express an opinion on the subject as only verrrrrrry highly qualified economists can understand economics. (Of course this could be a conspiracy of academics and The Thought Police to silence bloggers).

Very highly qualified economic professors, now let’s see, aren’t they the people whose crackpot theories dumped up in the shit mess we’re in? Well it’s no wonder, these people are really stark raving bonkers in the head. For a start there is nothing hard about economics. As the Dickens character Wilkins Micawber put it: Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen pounds and 95p, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds and five p, result misery. That’s economics sorted.

Unfortunately politicians are stupid enough to listen to the self worshipping imbeciles who have spent their entire working lives cocooned in the unreality bubbles of University faculties. Nobody should ever listen to economists, particularly the ones who run the US Federal Reserve and who are now advising the Imbecile In Chief Obama to pawn America to loan sharks and raise money for “stimulus spending” (aka pork barrel politics and vanity projects).

Ambrose Evans Pritchard, economics writer for The Daily Telegraph says:
“Like a mad aunt, the Fed is slowly losing its marbles. Kartik Athreya, senior economist for the Richmond Fed, has written a paper condemning economic bloggers as chronically stupid and a threat to public order. Matters of economic policy should be reserved to a priesthood with the correct post-doctoral credentials, which would of course have excluded David Hume, Adam Smith, and arguably John Maynard Keynes (a mathematics graduate, with a tripos foray in moral sciences).”
